The husbands or the father figures fail to take into consideration that the same women have day jobs that also need their attention thus leaving the women just as exhausted as their male counterparts. The barriers â€Å"stops† experienced by most working women is that the male gender still embraces the cultural way of division of labor where they are expected to fend for their families as the females take care of the families. Due to the hard economic times most families are unable to afford hired help, and so all the chores are left to the woman. The male elements are privileged whereas the female elements are marginalized. The males have time to unwind upon leaving their jobs while the women have more work awaiting them at home just as shown in the image above. Despite the prominent sectors of feminists being institutionalized and professionalized, they should still fight for the womens welfare (Carubia, Dowler, & Szczygiel, 2005). The domestic duties should be equally divided between the male and the female counterparts of the family to promote equality in all parts of life. My husband has heard my plea â€Å"destination† and is currently helping with a few things. Though he doesn’t do much at least he makes an effort.
